By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement.
We do not knowingly permit users under 16. If we become aware that an account belongs to a user under 16, we may suspend or delete the account.
You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account.
You are responsible for all activity carried out using your account.
You must not create accounts on behalf of others or impersonate any person.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the service.
The app is designed solely for language learning and cultural exchange.
You agree not to:
Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other users
Send hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or discriminatory content
Share content involving exploitation or harm to minors
Attempt to solicit money, goods, or services from other users
Use the app for dating, escorting, or commercial promotion
Share illegal content or encourage illegal activity
Attempt to bypass safety, moderation, or reporting systems
Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app’s operation
Users are responsible for the messages and content they share.
We do not pre-moderate private messages.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or Google Play policies.
By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display your content solely for operating the service.
Users can block and report other users directly within the app.
Reported content may be reviewed by our moderation team.
We may take action including content removal, warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
We cooperate with law enforcement where required by law.
We strongly encourage users to report behaviour that makes them feel unsafe.
The app is not directed at children.
Any content involving child sexual abuse or exploitation is strictly prohibited and will be reported to relevant authorities.
Accounts engaging in such activity will be permanently banned.
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is collected, used, and protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Features may change, be suspended, or discontinued at any time.
We may update or modify the app to comply with legal, safety, or policy requirements.
You may stop using the app at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or misuse the app.
We may terminate accounts to comply with legal obligations or platform policies.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”.
We do not guarantee language learning outcomes or the conduct of other users.
Interactions with other users are at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
We are not liable for user-generated content or user interactions
Our total liability is limited to any fees paid to us for use of the app (if applicable)
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded.
